Full course description

Have you wondered about the idea and purpose of districts having a Portrait of a Graduate, or Portrait of a Learner? There is a lot of “buzz” in Missouri around this work. Come learn from an expert from the Institute for Personalized Learning why this stakeholder engagement process is essential in preparing students to be college, career, and life-ready.

The Portrait of a Graduate (POG) strategic process goes beyond the current CSIP, it captures what a community deems as important skills and dispositions for all students to attain. This POG work is foundational in guiding educators to design and provide learning experiences that extend beyond a knowledge focus and that connects to authentic, real-world learning opportunities.
