Teacher Proud Tuesday Toolkit 2.0

The purpose of the Teacher Proud Tuesday campaign is to lift up and celebrate the profession and those currently serving, to recruit and inspire candidates to consider teaching, and to inform communities, business leaders and policymakers on the importance of public education. GOCSD invites and encourages Member Districts to participate in this effort on the second Tuesday of each month. 

This toolkit provides strategies, templates, messaging and examples to support you in implementing Teacher Proud Tuesday in your district. Once you have your protocols in place and initial templates created, the process will be efficient and easy to carry out each month. 

Please feel empowered to implement this effort in whatever way most suits your district! This is something that can be coupled with other staff recognition practices that you may already have in place, such as a teacher of the month program. It can supplement what you are already doing, not replace it. This toolkit is not a manual of required steps, but a collection of suggestions, ideas and tips.
