Full course description

Now, more than ever, students and parents are seeking inclusive learning environments where all learners are welcome. Relationships are the foundation of connecting with students, but how do you build connections when you aren’t in the same space? Join us for a practical and engaging session with strategies designed to ensure all truly means all when delivering virtual instruction.

GOCSD is excited to partner with Dr. Nichole Lemmon, the Director of Digital Learning at Springfield Public Schools, to offer this FREE virtual equity session. Nichole began her teaching career at Central High School, teaching in a bathroom converted into a classroom. There, she developed the media program Central Intelligence. She created the first online learning courses for SPS, now known as the Launch program, and has directed the Ignite initiative, providing students with digital tools, such as iPads and Chromebooks in the classroom.
